Remote Support
Even before remote control software offered by big name companies was offered to end users, PChelp2U has offered remote control PC assistance through the free software, Ultr@VNC SingleClick, which has been custom configured for secure connection from our help-desk pc to yours. Our "pcHELP-to-YOU" automatically uninstalls itself when our connection is closed, preventing unauthorized access to your computer.
It is important to remember that this software will not work unless the help-desk pc is available and staffed with a technician to assist you. Typically, a support fee is charged for this service.
PChelp-to-YOU instructions
1. Download the PChelp-to-YOU file by clicking here
2. Your browser will prompt you with this (or a similar) screen:
3. Click Run and the following screen (or one similar) should display:
4. Click Yes and you will briefly get this screen:
5. While the connection is established, this balloon will display near your clock:
6. Then a warning balloon will display:
You will then automatically be connected to the computer of a technical support specialist. This specialist will be able to see your computer screen and move your mouse. In this way, the specialist will be able to help you without the disadvantage of a delay.
When you are ready to terminate the connection, simply
right click the icon
in
the bottom right corner of your screen and select "Close" from the
pop-up window.
